It’s what ruined us back when Maddie’s antics were forcing us to make substitutions nearly every game.

But now that she’s ours, she’s brought us all together more than ever. The B-team breaks off to start running drills, but the six of us take a lap around the outskirts of the rink to scan the crowd.

There’s only one reason why, and she’s standing down by the bench next to our penalty box.
